The compass isn’t a good test to take unless you get really lucky. They test you on math that you have never studied and math you have studied way back in middle school that you might not even remember. They don’t even test you on the things of the class you are trying to get into.

I just took mine today! If you’re not too great in math, TAKE YOUR TIME. It’s not a timed test, so take advantage of it. I took about an hour on my math section, despite the fact that there are only handful of questions. They’re not too difficult, but definitely check, double check, and triple check your answers. Apparently it paid off for me: I don’t have to take any refresher courses!

    Good luck! :)

he got it because u need the sum and the multiple that when u multiply is gives -28 but when u add it gives you -12.

so -14 times 2 gives you -28 and for the sum -14 plus 2 gives you -12. hope that helped.
